Who we are

Einbürgerung Pro is an iOS app built by Leonardo Cardoso, based in Berlin, Germany. For privacy questions, write to leo+einbuergerung@leocardz.com. Full legal contact is in the imprint.

The short version

We do not run a server. We do not collect data. Apple's App Privacy label for Einbürgerung Pro is "Data Not Collected."

What stays on your device

Everything the app records about your study sessions (answers, simulation results, bookmarks, wrong-answer cards, streaks, and reminder preferences) is stored in SwiftData on your iPhone. It never leaves your device except through the two Apple services below, which you control.

iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, SwiftData syncs the app's data through the CloudKit private database of your Apple ID. Apple encrypts this data end-to-end between your devices. We never see it and cannot access it.

You can turn iCloud sync off for the app at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

Local notifications

Daily study, weekly simulation, and streak-protection reminders are delivered by iOS on your device using UNUserNotificationCenter. No push servers are involved, no tokens leave your phone, and we do not send anything to Apple's push infrastructure on your behalf.

Purchases

The unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2. We never see your name, payment method, or any billing detail. The app only learns whether the unlock has been granted to your Apple ID.

Third parties

There are none.

• No analytics.
• No advertising.
• No third-party SDKs.
• No crash reporters beyond Apple's own, which you control in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
• No social login, no data brokers, no trackers.

Your controls

• Reset progress in Settings to clear answers, simulations, and streaks from the device.
• Turn off iCloud sync for the app in iOS Settings to keep data on a single device.
• Remove the iCloud copy in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Einbürgerung Pro.
• Delete the app to remove everything on that device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page updates. The app keeps linking to this URL, so whatever is here is current.
